*formerly Washougal Window Washing
When the market crashed in the Great Recession of 2008, I was running a Jeep dealership in Park City, Utah. We could still sell Jeeps but we couldn't get financing for anyone. The frozen market cost me everything. After declaring bankruptcy, I moved in with my parents in Washougal, Washington. My mom asked if I'd clean her windows. As I did, her neighbor walked across the street and asked if I'd do hers. A lightbulb went on. "Hey, I could do this." With $2,000, I bootstrapped the business from nothing to thousands of satisfied customers today. It's allowed me to raise my boys and pursue my passions, travel and the art of Vincent van Gogh. You can learn more on my personal website. It may not exactly be the all-American dream, but hey, it's been close enough for me.
I have recently moved to Longview, Washington, settling in on Kessler Boulevard across the street from Lake Sacajewa. I plan on maintaining my favorite clients in Clark county, but I'm ready to call Cowlitz county home and grow my roots here for the next decade. If I've already cleaned your windows, you've probably met my brother and right-hand-man, James. He's been with me since 2015 and successfully runs the business when I'm out of town.
It's said the hardest part in business is replication. As a perfectionist, I've come to know this all too well. After this many years in business, I could just sit around the home office and let my people do the work. But I like knowing every detail is done correclty to assure your absolute satisfaction. As a former Division-1 collegiate athlete, I only hire former athletes. The work is demanding, requiring not only physical strength, but balance and hand-eye coordination. But former athletes are ideal because they know teamwork. They know leadership. Most importantly, they know sacrifice and perserverance. Invaluable skills I seek in every employee. I don't give my people fish, I teach them how to fish. Three former employees are each running successful window cleaning companies of their own. I hold it to be my greatest accomplishment as a business owner.
"Very quick response to my inquiry. Quote was accurate and they came out very soon after my request. Wonderful service, friendly person and my windows look amazing. They were quick, efficient and cost effective. I would highly recommend."
